About BinaryHeart at New Trier
BinaryHeart at New Trier is a high school student-run chapter dedicated to bridging the digital divide through technology recycling and refurbishment in the New Trier community and beyond.
As part of the larger BinaryHeart organization, our mission at New Trier is to collect, repair, and donate computers and other electronic devices to students, schools, and organizations in need throughout the New Trier area.
Our Mission
We believe that access to technology is a fundamental right in today's digital age. Our mission is to empower New Trier students and the New Trier community by providing them with the tools they need to succeed in an increasingly digital world.
Our Impact
Through our work at New Trier, we help students across the world access educational resources, participate in remote learning, and develop crucial digital literacy skills. We're also proud to contribute to environmental sustainability by keeping electronics out of landfills and giving them a second life in our community.
